OpenAI appoints Jill Hazelbaker as Chief Corporate Affairs Officer
Hazelbaker will lead OpenAI’s global communications and corporate positioning, with a remit to strengthen public understanding and trust.
She joins from Uber, where she was President and Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, overseeing communications, marketing, public policy, safety and people teams. During a decade there, she helped navigate regulatory and reputational challenges as the company expanded globally. Her earlier roles included communications and public policy leadership at Snap and Google, following a career in U.S. politics. OpenAI’s announcement does not specify a start date.
