Former Plaud exec raises $26M for AI app that listens to you in the background
Ambi says its always-listening AI app has raised $26 million and is launching across iPhone, Mac, and Apple Watch.
The startup, led by former Plaud executive Peter Mo, wants its agent to surface suggestions during meetings using calendar, meeting, knowledge-base, and web context. It is also planning a desktop app that can observe work activity and a hardware device with a screen, speaker, camera, and microphones. Mo says ambient capture is off by default and can be disabled, but TechCrunch notes disclosure to other people is still left to users. TechCrunch AI's note
