ActionSplice: In-Flight Action Editing for Interactive World Models
The paper’s fix is to change an action mid-sampling without waiting for the next video chunk or rolling back.
ActionSplice treats the interruption as Counterfactual State Transport, using a lightweight corrector to move the active model representation toward the state that the revised action would have produced. The world model and sampler stay frozen, and generation resumes without replaying completed solver work. In tests on minWM-Wan Action2V and HY-WM1.5, its variants cut LPIPS against rollback baselines and produced pixel-ready speedups over waiting. HF Daily Papers' note
