AegisAI raised $36 million for AI agents meant to catch spear-phishing emails that older rule systems miss.
The startup was founded last year by former Google security executives Cy Khormaee and Ryan Luo, who worked on safe browsing technology and reCAPTCHA. TechCrunch says AegisAI has dozens of customers, including Mesh, LangChain, and Lokker, and now has $49 million in total funding.
