Amazon launches Alexa+ in India with Hindi support
Alexa+ is opening in India in Early Access with Hindi-English conversation switching and local service integrations.
Amazon says the assistant can keep longer context, use a more expressive voice, and handle multi-step tasks like ordering groceries through Amazon Now or controlling smart-home devices. It works in Hindi and English, including mid-sentence switching. After testing, it will be free for Prime customers and ₹2,000 per month for non-Prime users. It also connects with Swiggy, District, TripAdvisor, MakeMyTrip, EazyDiner, Amazon Music, and JioSaavn. TechCrunch AI's note
