<p>The U.S. tech giant is in talks with Samsung to manufacture part of a next-generation tensor processing unit—Google’s specialized AI chip used in its cloud data centers—with Samsung’s 2-nanometer production technology, according to two people with direct knowledge of the project. The chip, code-named Icefish, is currently planned as Google’s 10th-generation TPU, the two people said.</p>
