xAI adds character references and 1080p to Imagine Video 1.5
Imagine Video 1.5 now supports text-only generation, multi-reference control, voice consistency, and native 1080p.
The reference tools are starting in the U.S. for SuperGrok Heavy and Plus users on Grok’s Imagine web and iOS apps, with all tiers promised over the next few days. Text-to-video and 1080p are already generally available on web, iOS, and Android. Multi-Reference can use up to seven images to hold a face, product, or location steady while changing other parts of a clip. Developers get image references, text-to-video, and 1080p through the xAI API, while voice references require a request to xAI. TestingCatalog's note
