Science One Framework: A verifiable autonomous research framework via Chain-of-Evidence
Google says its prototype tied every paper claim to evidence before writing, cutting phantom references to zero in its audit.
Science One Framework builds citation, code, score, and method evidence into the research workflow instead of checking it after a manuscript is drafted. Its CoE Audit tests generated papers for score reproducibility, specification violations, reference validity, and method-code alignment. Google reports the system led all four integrity checks across 75 generated papers and still matched or exceeded human expert performance on the ADRS tasks.
