OpenAI launches Dots agents powered by GPT-6 Astra
OpenAI’s Dots are being pitched as persistent agents with their own cloud computers, app access, and review controls.
Each dot can carry context across ChatGPT, Slack and Teams, ask follow-up questions, and return completed work for approval. OpenAI says users can inspect the dot’s computer, manage permissions, set Custom Rules, and keep sensitive actions such as password changes in human hands.
