FlashVector: Agent for Hierarchical Model Serving Stack Optimization
FlashVector reports production gains across model serving layers, not just GPU kernels.
The paper presents an agentic system for optimizing recommender-system serving stacks spanning kernels, computation graphs, model servers, and feature processing. Deployed on Unity’s Vector advertising platform, it achieved up to 2x throughput and 1.98x latency speedup on the model server, plus up to 1.6x throughput improvement on the feature store. The authors say the system found optimizations in NVIDIA Triton’s C++ model-server code and Python feature-transformation services as well as lower-level GPU and graph components.
