Cursor begins Origin code hosting rollout for paid plans
Origin is now in early beta for Cursor’s paid users, with GitHub sync left intact as the bridge.
Cursor’s new Codebase tab lets users create hosted repositories, push local projects, or sync selected GitHub repos into Origin. Synced repos remain controlled by GitHub, while Cursor adds browsing, search, pull request review, comments, merge controls, and agent actions around them. Cursor says PR comments and GitHub replies move between the two systems within seconds. Early app integrations include Vercel previews, Depot, and Buildkite for workflows and pipelines.
