SkillAlchemy: Open-World Agent Skill Creation
SkillAlchemy tries to automate skill writing from source material when the task brief is incomplete.
The paper frames “open-world skill creation” as discovering missing requirements and deciding which procedures are justified by the available sources. Its system admits procedures only when evidence supports their scope, then compiles them into a grammar-guided skill package. Across 87 SkillsBench v1.1 tasks, it reports a 19.9-point pass-rate gain over no-skill execution and an 8.6-point gain over the strongest automated baseline. ArXiv · AI/CL/LG's note
