Lambda is using nearly $1 billion in short-term private debt to buy Nvidia GPUs for a Microsoft lease.
Bloomberg says the AI cloud provider, which is backed by Nvidia, raised the debt to finance the GPU purchase. The equipment will be leased by Microsoft, according to people familiar with the matter.
