Amazon blocks Meta’s new Muse AI agent from shopping on amazon.com
Amazon is using its account rules to keep Meta’s Muse agent out of checkout.
Muse launched September 8 as an agent that can browse, fill forms and buy for a user, but Amazon began showing a popup saying unauthorized AI access violates its Conditions of Use. Amazon says Muse does not identify itself, did not disclose it would shop Amazon, and may mishandle logins; Meta says Muse cannot see passwords or payment methods.
