OpenAI launches ChatGPT Images 2.5 with faster editing
OpenAI says ChatGPT Images 2.5 cuts generation latency by up to 50% while improving reference-based edits.
The model is rolling out across ChatGPT, ChatGPT Work, and Codex on desktop, mobile, and web. The piece says it is built to preserve subjects, backgrounds, layouts, and brand treatment more reliably through targeted edits and longer conversations. ChatGPT is also adding @Sketch, templates, image comments, and optional shared prompts for remixing. Developers get GPT-Image-2.5 Flare for faster default use and Sunburst for higher-control creative workflows. TestingCatalog's note
