SpaceFlow: Locally Controllable 3D Generation

· HF Daily Papers ·
SpaceFlow lets users set different geometry and appearance controls for separate parts of a generated 3D object.

The paper describes a training-free pipeline that starts from text plus geometric primitives, with each primitive acting as a proxy for an object part. Users can mark regions for strict shape adherence or looser generative completion. For appearance, the generated structure is segmented and each part is conditioned only on its assigned text or image cue, reducing cross-part leakage. The authors report stronger local geometry preservation in high-control regions and state-of-the-art prompt faithfulness and color/material accuracy on fixed-geometry appearance tests.
