Recursive Superintelligence signs $410 compute deal with Amazon
Recursive is spending most of its raised capital on AWS capacity for self-improving AI systems.
The multiyear AWS deal is valued at $410 million, against Recursive’s $650 million in disclosed funding. CEO Richard Socher told TechCrunch he expects this to be “one of the smallest” compute deals the company signs in the next few years. AWS is not investing in Recursive, but says the companies will co-develop infrastructure for Recursive-style AI firms. Socher said the company expects to show usable products around October.
