Automating coherent long-form video generation
Google says its long-video system keeps characters, places, and objects stable by tracking a persistent visual state across shots.
The work combines four frameworks: an AI video co-director, CANVAS, A²RD, and VQQA. Together they plan story structure, preserve visual anchors, generate video segment by segment, and use model critiques to refine prompts. Google says the approach reduces identity drift, scene drift, and pipeline failures in minutes-long generated videos. The system sits on top of Gemini and Veo and inherits protections such as SynthID watermarking. Google Research's note
