AIR raises $50M to help companies vet the skills and add-ons AI agents use
AIR is pitching security review for AI-agent tools as a new enterprise supply-chain layer.
The startup came out of stealth with $50 million across two seed rounds led by Sequoia and Greenoaks. Its platform finds AI agents inside companies, vets the skills, plugins, MCP servers and add-ons they use, and can block unsafe interactions. CEO Yair Saban told TechCrunch the company filters out about 27% of the add-ons and skills it finds online. AIR says it has more than 20 customers and will use the money to hire researchers and expand in the U.S. and Europe. TechCrunch AI's note
