PersonaPath: Towards Knowledge-Centric Personalized Learning Path Planning
The benchmark asks LLMs to plan study paths from learner personas, mastery states, and prerequisite graphs, and the best model still fails most cases.
PersonaPath contains 2,000 learner personas and a hierarchy spanning 347 textbooks, 1,751 units, and 4,092 concepts across 77 subjects. The paper frames the task as knowledge-centric planning rather than recommending the next exercise from past clicks. In its evaluation, the strongest LLM reached a 29.5% final pass rate in Basic Education.
