Cursor makes its biggest India push yet ahead of SpaceX acquisition with localized pricing
Cursor is testing a ₹649-a-month India-only plan as its first localized subscription.
Cursor Start is priced far below the standard $20 Pro plan and is aimed at Indian developers who need more AI coding capacity than the free tier. The plan includes Cursor’s Composer 2.5 model, Grok 4.5, cloud agents, iOS access, plug-ins, MCP support, hooks, and skills, but leaves out frontier models from OpenAI and Anthropic and advanced Pro features. India is already Cursor’s third-largest market, and the company says its user base there has more than tripled over the past year. Cursor says the pricing was planned before the SpaceX deal and could expand elsewhere if it works.
