<p>Two months ago, my colleagues <a href="https://www.theinformation.com/articles/anduril-discusses-new-funding-60-billion-plus-valuation">broke the news</a> of Anduril’s latest funding round, slated to value the company at $60 billion. Andreessen Horowitz and Thrive Capital are leading the roughly $4 billion investment, according to a source with direct knowledge of the fundraising efforts. But another investor stands out for the size of its check. </p><p>Founders Fund is investing about $624 million into the funding round, according to financial documents I reviewed. That means the firm, whose general partner <a href="https://www.theinformation.com/articles/the-rise-of-founders-funds-faithful-warrior">Trae Stephens</a> co-founded the Costa Mesa, Calif.-based startup in 2017, will have sunk at least <a href="https://www.theinformation.com/articles/anduril-discusses-new-funding-60-billion-plus-valuation">$2.6 billion</a> into the company when the round closes. The VC firm has invested in all of Anduril’s previous rounds, according to data firm PitchBook. </p>
