Who Speaks Matters: Authority-Aware Multi-View RAG over Italian Parliamentary Proceedings
ParliamentRAG ranks retrieved parliamentary voices by query-specific authority, then cites the supporting speech.
The system targets Italian Chamber of Deputies transcripts, where ordinary RAG can overrepresent frequent speakers or misattribute politically sensitive quotations. Its authority model weighs signals including profession, education, and prior interventions for the topic at hand. In a 15-topic evaluation against Google NotebookLM, it scored slightly higher on political-group coverage and reached perfect quotation faithfulness, while NotebookLM did better on prose quality.
