Architect-Ant: Editable Automatic Furnishing of Architectural Floor Plans
Architect-Ant learns furnishing layouts from 505 annotated professional floor plans, then outputs editable object-level room plans.
The paper introduces AntPlan, covering 92 furniture classes across ten residential room categories. Its model uses a coordinate-based DSL so generated layouts can still be edited and converted into 3D scenes. The training combines supervised fine-tuning with GRPO guided by a Layout Rule Score for geometric and functional constraints. The authors report fewer geometric violations and stronger functional completeness than tested baselines. HF Daily Papers' note
