Nscale buys Anyscale as it seeks to own more of the AI compute stack
Nscale is paying a reported $1.65 billion to add Anyscale’s AI workload software to its infrastructure business.
Anyscale’s platform is built around Ray and handles developer tools, observability, orchestration, and scaling for model training, inference, reinforcement learning, and related work. Nscale says the deal fits its push into energy, data centers, orchestration software, and workload management. Anyscale will keep its brand and existing customers, while roughly 200 employees join Nscale. TechCrunch AI's note
