Microsoft previews MAI-Image-2.5-Pro and MAI-Voice-2-Flash
Microsoft is putting two new in-house models into public preview through Foundry: one for high-fidelity image generation, one for faster cheaper voice.
MAI-Image-2.5-Pro is pitched for hero artwork, detailed edits, and accurate text inside generated images, with pricing broken out by text, image input, and image output tokens. MAI-Voice-2-Flash is said to be twice as fast as MAI-Voice-2 and 32% cheaper, at $15 per 1 million characters. Microsoft says the voice model is already powering Dynamics 365 Contact Center and Azure Voice Live, with GPU cost reductions of up to 89% in the contact-center deployment. TestingCatalog's note
