Barret Zoph’s latest stop is Google, where he will be vice president of research for Gemini work.
Zoph had returned to OpenAI after leaving Thinking Machines, but that stint lasted five months. TechCrunch says he had been assigned to lead AI enterprise sales before leaving OpenAI in June.
