Agility is the first pure humanoid robot company on the stock market. Are you buying?

· TechCrunch AI ·
Agility’s $465 million capital raise comes after just $174,000 in first-half revenue and a $362 million loss.

Its Digit robots work with nine customers, moving heavy totes in industrial facilities, though most revenue came from related parties. Agility has $300 million in planned contracts from 30 customers for Digit 5, contingent on the robot meeting undisclosed performance targets. That model has yet to be demonstrated publicly; demonstrations are planned for CES 2027, with wide availability expected late that year. CEO Peggy Johnson said the SPAC proceeds would cover current needs but would not say whether they would carry Agility to self-sufficiency.
