Introducing Gemini 3.6 Flash, 3.5 Flash-Lite, and 3.5 Flash Cyber
Google is pitching the new Flash lineup as cheaper, faster infrastructure for production AI agents.
Gemini 3.6 Flash is described as a higher-quality workhorse than 3.5 Flash, with fewer output tokens, lower pricing, and gains in coding, knowledge work, multimodal tasks, and computer use. Gemini 3.5 Flash-Lite is the speed-and-cost option, rated by Artificial Analysis at 350 output tokens per second and aimed at high-throughput agentic workflows. The Cyber version is a limited-access CodeMender model for governments and trusted partners, focused on finding and fixing software vulnerabilities. 3.6 Flash and 3.5 Flash-Lite are available through Gemini developer and enterprise channels, while 3.5 Pro is still in partner testing.
