Anthropic’s new Fable release is cheaper, less restrictive
Fable 5.1 is being opened broadly with lower token costs and fewer safeguard false positives.
Anthropic released Fable and Mythos 5.1 as paired versions of its most advanced model. Mythos 5.1 remains limited to registered partners in cybersecurity or life sciences, while Fable 5.1 is available through cloud platforms and Anthropic’s API. The company says Fable will support Zero Data Retention and a high-privacy enterprise service in June, with clients controlling how misuse monitoring is handled.
