OpenAI launches GPT-6 Cyber for Daybreak Red customers
GPT‑6 Cyber produced reproducible tests for 81 previously unknown Firefox vulnerabilities Mozilla rated high severity.
Mozilla has begun landing fixes, and the model also showed that 30 known issues were more severe than previously reported. OpenAI classifies GPT‑6 Cyber as Critical for cybersecurity under its Preparedness Framework, up from High for GPT‑5.6 Cyber. Access is initially limited to select approved Daybreak Red customers through the API and Codex, with availability for all Daybreak Red customers planned soon. The rollout includes cyber-specific monitoring, sandboxing and human oversight.
