Google Play now supports private, vibe-coded apps built just for you
Google is letting Android users run private AI-built apps through Play without publishing them publicly.
The feature uses a standard Google account and keeps the app out of Play search and listings. It is initially limited to U.S. users 18 and older, and the apps still have to follow Google Play policies. Google says sharing with trusted friends is coming later, with a path to public Play Store release after trust and safety review. TechCrunch AI's note
