SUPRA-TEX: 3D Generation with Super-Aligned Texture
SUPRA-Tex fixes visible material details in place while generating the surfaces a reference image cannot show.
The system first estimates lighting-separated material maps from the reference image and projects them onto the visible mesh. It holds that evidence as fixed anchors while completing materials across the remaining surface. The authors report state-of-the-art results in mesh texturing and end-to-end asset generation using only public training datasets. They also report matching or exceeding leading commercial systems on in-the-wild images.
