Amazon introduces TorchNeuron, an open-source tool that will allow developers to run code written in PyTorch on Amazon's Trainium chips with no rewrite (Todd Bishop/GeekWire)
TorchNeuron is in public beta, offering developers a simpler route from Nvidia to Amazon’s AI chips.
The open-source framework lets existing PyTorch code run on Trainium without rewriting it. GeekWire describes the intended switch as about as simple as changing a setting. Amazon says 85% of AI researchers and developers write their code in PyTorch.
