Meta introduces Muse as a proactive personal agent

Meta’s Muse is designed to keep doing personal tasks in the background, with approvals for actions that matter.

TestingCatalog says Muse runs on its own computer-like environment with a file system, terminal and browser, letting it navigate sites, fill forms, build tools and create documents. The agent can continue work after the app closes, react to schedules or events, and decide when to notify the user. Meta is showing controls around that autonomy, including activity logs, editable memory, permission records and approval cards for purchases, emails and other critical steps.
