SpaceX spent $295 million on Tesla Megapacks in the second quarter and $329 million so far this year, according to the filing cited by TechCrunch. The piece says the batteries are likely headed to xAI data centers, after xAI had already bought $430 million of Megapacks before merging with SpaceX.
