Omilia raises $67M to scale its customer support platform

· TechCrunch AI ·
Omilia says contact centers need cheaper, narrower automation alongside generative AI.

The Athens-based company raised a $67 million Series B led by Expedition Growth Capital after growing ARR to $60 million. CEO Dimitris Vassos argues many support queries do not need large language models, and says Omilia’s pitch is better unit economics. The company plans to expand in the U.S., add go-to-market leadership, and grow from about 500 employees to 600 by year-end. Its customers include Capital One, Discover, RBC, DWP, PSEG, and Taco Bell, where Omilia says its logs do not support a reported 18,000-cup water-ordering incident. TechCrunch AI's note
