Databricks is folding Row Zero’s live spreadsheet interface into Genie for last-mile analytics work.
The deal is meant to expand Databricks’ AI coworker platform, according to co-founder Patrick Wendell. Row Zero had built a high-performance spreadsheet for large data sets and raised a $10 million seed round led by IA Ventures last year.
