Exclusive: Microsoft tests new MAI Realtime voice model
Microsoft’s hidden MAI Playground entry points to a first-party, full-duplex voice model already in partner testing.
The visible build supports 17 languages, automatic language detection, and mid-conversation language switching. Two voices, Victoria and Grant, are described as more natural than Copilot’s current voice mode.
