xAI launches Imagine Image 2.0 in Grok Quality Mode
xAI’s new Grok image mode is built for controlled creative work, with API access still pending.
Imagine Image 2.0 is now the Quality Mode for Grok’s web Imagine service and its iOS and Android apps. xAI says it can handle detailed layouts, sharper small text, repeatable elements, region-specific edits, transparent background exports, and up to five reference images in one generation. The release also adds workflow templates for product edits, e-commerce images, headshots, icons, sprites, emojis, and merchandise.
